Who Can Use Laundry Worx with NDIS Funding?
Laundry Worx is not a registered NDIS provider, but many participants can still use our laundry pickup and delivery service with their funding. Here’s how it works:
Self-Managed NDIS Participants
If you manage your own NDIS plan, you have full choice and control over your providers. You can pay for our laundry service directly and then claim it back from your NDIS funds.
Plan-Managed NDIS Participants
If your plan is managed by a plan manager, we can send invoices straight to them for payment. Plan managers can approve services from both registered and non-registered providers, making it easy for you to use Laundry Worx.
NDIA-Managed Participants
If your plan is agency-managed (NDIA-managed), you can only use registered providers. At this stage, our laundry service won’t be claimable under your plan.
Our laundry services fall under “Household Tasks” in the Core Supports category of the NDIS. This means if your plan includes support for daily living activities, you may be able to use your funding for washing, drying and folding with Laundry Worx.
